I don't usually read these types of books. I usually stick to New Adult romance based novels. I will admit that I was skeptical as to whether I would like this book. However, I was pleasantly surprised by my feelings upon completion!

I liked the action that was spread throughout the book. There was so much going on that it was difficult to get bored and want to rush through to the end. That was definitely one of the best parts of the novel. I also find special agent/FBI based stories to be very interesting so that was another component that kept me intrigued and well gripped.
As far as the writing goes, there were a few errors. However, as a writer myself I know that I also have a few errors in my novel. It is inevitable and considering how few there were, it didn't effect my feelings towards the book. The writing was fantastic. The author did an amazing job with detail and depicting his story through a well spoken voice that kept me turning the page. That is a hard thing to do, and I commend the author for being able to tell such a detailed story.
The only thing that caused me to rate this excellent book with 4.5 rather than 5 stars was the supernatural aspect. I'm not a fan of paranormal books and while I was glad that I felt as if there was more to the book than just that, it did spoil the story for me a little bit. But only a little! I really enjoyed this, supernatural powers nonetheless. I'm very glad I read this! I hope to read more from this author in the future, and I can only hope that my own writing is as detailed and intriguing. Great work!!
