Seeking Dr. Magic Review from Jan Heart

I can well imagine this novel appealing to not only young adults, but also to those who like superhero novels, and let's face it, that's just about 50% of the male audience these days. Why so appealing? Well, it has just that right combination of the strange mixed with a good helping of a good story. The world is in turmoil, and all around people are looking quite helpless. Strange events then start occurring of a magical nature. All seems lost... but no .. enter the scene Detective Hatfield, an investigator with his own brand of getting at the truth of what is going on. Whether it's Dr. Magic or Detective Hatfield who takes your fancy, here we have a novel with some really enjoyable characters. A surprisingly good novel that did not disappoint in any way. I hope Scott Spotson gets to write more novels because I could see him developing quite a fan club based on the evidence of this book.
