The Stories behind "Seeking Dr. Magic"

My colleagues have often remarked to me how original is the story behind "Seeking Dr. Magic." It was a concept that I developed in only one day. Many times, while daydreaming outside, I would gaze at a building that had an odd structure: it had several "columns" that were still intertwined within its core structure. Thus, that building had various heights and cross-sectional rooftops. I imagined a Spider-Man-like figure, only that it wouldn't really have Spider-Man's colors or markings, but would be a superhero that would playfully jump around on all the various rooftops. I then thought: what if we did not know who that figure was? And how would that figure have the powers to do so? I then developed the concept that this stuntman wouldn't really be the magical super being - instead, it would merely be an automaton. The magical super being would conjure up such automatons to tantalize us, to trick us, to hold us spellbound while himself remaining hidden from the world. That's what magic is all about.

Now that we had this very mischievous sorcerer, whom no one knows, how do we find him? That was the most tricky part of the plot. But I've developed a way, and it's in this story. You'll know that I invented a detective to do that job. After all, who is more well-suited to uncovering clues than an old-fashioned detective? Hope you enjoy it!

Theme: Show a superhero, that is generic and not identified as a famous one, with tight costume. A man. Show him squatting on a building, looking over the edge.
